LEOPARDS MAUL TIGERS’ HITTERS – FOR 4 TO 2 VICTORY

Van Vleck senior, Kason Klump, carved up the Tidehaven Tigers, Thursday night. Klump scattered 5 strikeouts throughout the night along with 1 walk…beating Tidehaven 4 to 2. Offensively for the Leopards, Jeremiah Smith and Pruett Schulz both smashed doubles – Schulz’s double plated 2 runs for Van Vleck…Kameron Wied and Jeremiah Smith both scored a run for the Leps and Easton Brown scored 2 runs to round out the offensive attack. Pitching and defense came to the forefront Thursday night for the Leopards. Klump went the distance for the Leps – giving up 2 runs, 2 hits, and 1 walk – just an outstanding performance. The victory put the Leps right back in the playoff hunt…the Leopards will host the Industrial Cobras this Tuesday night, at Van Vleck, at 7pm.
