  • Monday is a holiday.

  • Seniors, we will have our cap and gown portraits on February 6th.  Everything will be provided

 

  • FFA is having their annual Chili Cook Off and Washer Tournament today in the ag shop.   students, faculty, and community members can participate. See the ag teachers to sign up.

  • The next NHS meeting will be after school today in the library at 3:25 p.m.  If you have not yet picked up your dinner tickets, go by Ms. Ottis' classroom between classes.

  • Need Volunteer Hours? Jan 25th 2-6. Camofest needs help in the kids area. Please see Mrs. Porter today

 

  • - The Matagorda County Fair & Livestock Association Royalty applications are due this Sunday, January 19th at the Fairground's Multipurpose room. It is mandatory that you attend this on Sunday if you plan to participate this year. The Royalty pageant is open to girls in 9-12th grade. The application can be found on Mrs. Button's Counselor's Corner on the VVHS website and on the MCFLA website. 

 

  • - Seniors, there are several scholarship applications available right now, including Jackson Electric, Educator 500, TDECU, and Andrew Vasek Memorial. The sooner you get these filled out and turned in, the better

  • All High School girls that are in 4-H or FFA that are interested in running for Matagorda County Fair Queen or Rodeo Queen….registration is this Sunday, January 19th at the Matagorda County Fairgrounds in the Multi-Purpose building.  Registration is from 1:00-2:00. This meeting is mandatory to register, we will be taking publicity photos that day, so dress appropriately. Applications are online at the MCFLA website.  If you have any questions or would like a paper copy of the application, please contact Mrs. Ward at E. Rudd Intermediate. This is a great opportunity to represent Van Vleck at the Matagorda County Fair and Rodeo.
