VVHS Swim team traveled to El Campo for an invitational meet today. Although we didn’t come home with any ribbons we did drop some serious time. The following swimmers dropped time for these events 50 Freestyle: Marcus DeLaRosa 9.30 seconds, Logan Reed 9.11, Patrick Dubourdieu 6.53, Brendan Hahn 9.08. 100 Freestyle: Brendan H dropped an amazing 24.37 seconds, Patrick D 12.12 seconds, and Jaycie Franz dropped 12.55 seconds. They also had fun participating in a gummy bear raft relay race with Marcus DeLaRosa as the passenger. Looking forward to our next meet in Brazosport then district on January 18th in Victoria.
