Due to the severe weather in the Van Vleck area last night, some of our buildings were affected by the heavy rains and hail. All of our students are safe and being taken care of. We are carefully assessing and cleaning up any areas that received water leaks. Please understand that we make the decision to open or close the schools in bad weather based on a careful analysis of all relevant factors, with the students and staff well-being in mind.
We will be releasing the students early today at 1:00 p.m. so that parents can make necessary arrangements.
