  1. This week the Leopards are going to "Whoop the Wheatley Wildcats" on Friday night. Please join us in participating in this week's theme: "High School Musical". On Friday, dress as a member of a stereotypical high school clique: jocks, cheerleaders, nerds, thespians, etc. Remember that you must be in dress code at all times. One student from each class will be chosen as the best dressed and recognized at the pep rally. 

  2. We are selling Gold Out shirts.  All proceeds go to Pediatric Cancer Research.  The cost is $10, forms are in the front office.  They are due with the money by September 13th to the front office. 

  3. Class officer forms are on the counter in the front office.  They are due by tomorrow at 3:30 to the front office . No late entries will be accepted. 

  4. We are selling T-shirts for Coach Benien’s family.  Order forms are in the front office. The money and form is due by next Wednesday, Sept. 11th.  

  5. We are starting something new this year.  We are going to have a Leopard of the Month.  You may nominate a teacher or staff of the high school.  Forms are hanging by the door of the front office. You may return them to the box on the counter. This is a great way to recognize a VVHS staff member that goes above and beyond for VVHS or who has inspired you, or had an impact on your life.  

  6. We will be offering the PSAT to our sophomores and juniors on October 16, 2019. There is  a sign up on the 10th and 11th grade Google Classrooms. The cost is $10

  7. You must have a permit to park on campus.  Forms are hanging by the door of the front office.  Please fill out the form, have your parents sign and return it to the front office with your drivers license and proof of insurance. Vehicles without permits are subject to being booted.  If you are booted, you must pay $25 to remove it. 

  8. Leopards for Christ will meet on Thursdays in Coach Birchum’s room at 7:30 am

  9. There will be a WIT meeting tomorrow  after school in the Cafeteria.

  10. If you wish to join drama club, the sign up is outside the office on the bulletin board. First meeting will be Thursday 3:40-4 pm

  11. Rice Festival Pageant applications and Hospital Student Governing Board applications are posted on Counselor Corner and outside Mrs. Button’s office.
