Van Vleck High School

WIT (Workforce Industry Training) toured Brazosport College and visited the Health Science Center.  Students learned about the EMT and Nursing programs. Students were able to see the new state of the art EMT clinical room that is set-up to resemble an ambulance and give EMT student's a more realistic experience during their certification program.  Students also viewed the two of the clinical rooms for the nursing program and learned about the various skills that students are trained on and the job opportunities based on what level of nurse they become and how they can transition into programs to earn their BSN or later become a Nurse Practitioner.
