Van Vleck ISD

Senator Lois Kolkhorst visited Van Vleck ISD today and met with Superintendent John O'Brien. O'Brien said, "It was a pleasure to meet with Senator Kolkhorst today and talk about ways she could better represent Van Vleck ISD and the patrons of our community. We talked about ways to improve TRS (Teacher's Retirement System) for present and retired employees and improving school finance so to lessen the burden on local taxpayers to looking at ways to help lower medical costs for all citizens in the state. She was excited that the taxpayers approved our School Bond in 2017, and was excited for the future of VVISD." Thank you Senator Kolkhorst for visiting Van Vleck, and we look forward to this upcoming legislative session.
