Representative Bonnen Visits Van Vleck ISD

Thank you to State Representative Dennis Bonnen and his team for stopping by Van Vleck ISD to meet with Superintendent John O’Brien and Asst. Superintendent Christie Dement after meeting with leaders in our county earlier today. Superintendent O’Brien and Asst. Superintendent Dement discussed several important topics that could affect our students, staff, district and community as we approach the upcoming legislative session beginning in January, 2019. These topics ranged from school finance and mental health issues to the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) for our employees and retired school employees.
