Classes will resume normally at Van Vleck ISD tomorrow, Thursday, September 16, 2021.
The District is aware that some of our parents, students and staff may still be without power and/or may have suffered damage during the storm and we encourage families to make decisions in the best interest of their safety and well-being. If your student is unable to attend school, please contact your school's front office on Thursday morning and let them know.
Please note that the District may experience transportation delays as we navigate some of our roads that still have trees down or where roads are damaged. If our buses are unable to travel down your road, please bring your student to the main highway for pickup and drop-off. All after-school activities are scheduled to resume normally tomorrow, including UIL activities.
We are thankful the storm did not result in large-scale damages in our area. We look forward to seeing our students back at school and ready to resume instruction tomorrow morning.
