Our students and staff have been in the new buildings since 2020 for VVE and VVHS and 2021 for VVJH, following the passing of the BOND to build three new schools in 2017.
We respect that these older buildings hold a special place in the hearts of the Van Vleck community. Local entities, school organizations, and community organizations who utilize the surrounding properties may have an interest in how the properties are used. Moreover, there may be other individuals who have ideas for the facilities.
As such, it is prudent for us to consider options (1) for the use of the facilities that honor their heritage, (2) meet the needs and desires of the Van Vleck community, and (3) are also fiscally responsible.
None of these older buildings are considered historical markers.

Information concerning the costs of utilities, insurance, and maintenance will be presented, followed by an open discussion about the future of our older buildings. We welcome your input.
We will also provide an online and paper survey to hear your feedback.
