OHHMS Volleyball team played Danbury at the old high school gym in Van Vleck Monday night. 

The 7th grade B team came ready to play! They took the 1st game 25-13. Mia Perry let the scoring with ten points including three aces. Keslie McKnight was the second leading scorer with four points including one ace. Their second game was more challenging as they started wtih a new starting team. Danbury picked up their game so the scoring wealth was more evenly with Perry scoring four points with an ace, Chasidy Love with three points and two aces, and Kendl Brown with three points. It was a great team effort, although the did end up with a score of 22-25. 

The 7th grade A team struggled a little with their transitions but won in two games with scores of 25-16 and 25-18. Reese Polk and Lakyn Matchett each scored five points in the first  game. The entire team came together with their passing and determination. The second game was more exciting with Matchett scoring eight points with two aces, Eliana Fuentes with her three aces, and Elaina Quiroga with three hits. Gracem Casey kept the game going iwth her setting, while Ella Noster stepped up her passing game. Way to work as a team and git ‘er done!

Our next game will be at home against Hempstead Monday, October 19th. This will be the last game for the 7B team.
