VVISD HEALTH SERVICES

The Nursing Team oversees the healthcare of every student and staff member in the entire district in compliance with regulatory standards set forth by the Texas Education Agency, the Texas Board of Nursing, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), the Centers for Disease Control, and recommendations by NASN / TSNO.

School Health Advisory Council

Our goal for VVISD SHAC is to help promote better health and safety with our students and staff, which in turn increases academic achievement and reduces absenteeism. Van Vleck ISD will work together to have healthy students, staff, and families through awareness, support, and implementation of our Coordinated Health Program.

Quarterly SHAC meetings will be held In-Person with the option of attending via phone call or Google Meets. All Meetings will be recorded and posted to the website. Agendas will be posted to the website at least 1 week prior to each meeting. See Schedule for the school year below.
